An Invitation to Pray and Give: For Kieran and the Sheehan Family
During this time of remembrance, we come together in mourning, in solidarity, and in faith. As a parish family, we are called to carry one another—to mourn with those who mourn, to lift each other up in prayer, and to offer what we can in love.
Please join us in a special prayer campaign for Kieran and the Sheehan family. We also invite you join us in supporting the new “Kieran Sheehan Memorial Fund” which will provide financial and emotional support to communities and families who unexpectedly lose loved ones due to mental illness. On our parish page in the Hallow app, we’ve launched this campaign centered around the Surrender Novena. For the next 9 days, we will pray together daily. Alongside each day’s reflection, you’ll have the opportunity to give in support of the “Kieran Sheehan Memorial Fund”.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 and Hallow will match the first $5,000 raised.
You can find our parish page by visiting the Community tab in the Hallow app. The Surrender Novena for the "Kieran Sheehan Memorial Fund" appears in the "Up Next" section (scroll right if you don't see it right away). Once you've joined the campaign, please pray the Surrender Novena each day and feel free to give as you're able.
If you're not yet on Hallow, visit hallow.com/parish, search for Mary Mother of the Church (use our 17552 zip code), and follow the prompts (or see Deacon Joe). You'll be given a special trial offer; if you'd like to forgo and remain on the free version, simply hit "skip" at the offer screen. Either way, you'll have access to our parish page and most importantly, the prayer campaign for the Sheehan family and the giving campaign for the "Kieran Sheehan Memorial Fund".
