R.C.I.A. stands for the "Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults." It is a journey for anyone 16 years and older who is unbaptized or is a member of another Christian church and is interested in learning about and possibly joining the Catholic faith. It is the process through which they are introduced to the faith and the Catholic way of life. Catholic beliefs are taught in detail so they can know what is required to join the church.
It is also for Catholics that for one reason or another did not receive all of their sacraments as a child.
The first class for RCIA was September 18th but it's not too late to join.
