PastorFrTedatMMOCgmail.comFather Ted Keating was ordained May 21, 1994 at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Harrisburg. His last assignment was at Seven Sorrows BVM Church in Middletown, since 2012.
A parish church is a visible symbol of God's Kingdom on earth. It is here where we come together each week to be strengthened and to be nourished by the great gift of the Eucharist. It is here where we baptize our children and teach them the ways of our faith.. It is here in this sacred place where couples marry and begin their life together, and it is here where we lay to rest our faithful members and to send them to our Heavenly Father. It is here where our deepest needs are satisfied, enabling us to live a healthier life. It is here in this building that our God has chosen to dwell, which makes MMOC truly "Holy Ground".
I am excited and look forward to being here, with you, in Mount Joy.
