Ministry: the act of serving.
Meals Ministry: the act of serving others through the gift of food.
When we're struggling, we want to know that someone cares.
When a person or family is experiencing the birth of a child, a sickness, surgery, emergency, serious injury or other challenging event, it's a great opportunity to show them that we recognize their need, we care, and we're taking action.
What is the MMOC Meals Ministry?
The MMOC Meals Ministry serves families or individuals within our church community by providing ready-to-eat meals. As a need
arises, the Meals Ministry coordinator, through Meal Train, an online organizational tool for planning and organizing a meal ministry, will contact volunteers with information regarding the family in need.
Members of the Meals Ministry are not locked into a strict commitment. Whenever you are able to deliver a meal, during the specific period of time, simply respond to the request of volunteers. It is not necessary to respond if you cannot accommodate the request.
You do not have to be a professional chef to join this team! It just takes a desire to serve one another in love.
